Too Much Salt?

If your face and ankles are starting to puff up you could have too much salt in your diet.

Eating more foods that are rich in potassium such as dried apricots, sweet potatoes and bananas helps to balance sodium and eliminate fluid.

Potassium plays an important role in the body's fluid balance!!!!!

Take Charge Of Your Life

Being retired Massage Therapists, my husband and I came across people with a host of problems - crook backs - aching legs, sore necks, you name it and it came through the door!!!

We were forever encouraging people to take control of their own health which believe it or not is a real uphill battle.

My aim here is to try and motivate YOU to do the things you can that will promote a healthy, happy lifestyle. I will share with you, tips on exercise, diet, 'feel good' activities and maybe the odd joke or two.

Please feel free to make a comment or add your own suggestions, insights and ideas.

SO LET'S BEGIN
The first and maybe most important thing you can do for yourself is get off your bum. Movement, Movement, Movement. No matter what your level of fitness you need to do some exercise. Moving around improves your circulation which is good for your heart, good for your imune system, good for your brain. So DO IT NOW.

If you are able go out for walk, walk around your garden and smell the roses, go to the park. Have a walk every day, make it part of your lifestyle. You will feel SO GOOD!!!

If you are not mobile then get someone to take you out. Try doing some gentle seated exercises in the fresh air.

So TURN OFF THIS COMPUTER NOW.
Bye Bye, catch you next time.
